I definitely want to fully shine up my Supercharger before it gets installed, but i have heard two different opinions regarding Polishing it and Ceramic Coating it..I was told that ceramic coating is better, because when you polish it you first have to sand it, which in doing so will make it run hotter...Then i hear the opposite that when ceramic coated it will run hotter...Anybody got some info on this...Call it a Myth Buster if you wil

 

ceramic coating might make it run hotter because the purpose of ceramic coating is to keep heat inside. polishing won't make much difference.

OK sorry i found out the specific coating is called Sol-Gel Ceramic Coating and is very popular in engine parts, its mixed with the color of your choice, in my case a liquid silver, and being this compound it will not trap heat, actually make it cooler
