the black coating on mine is jet hot. they usually have about a 2 week delay during race season and its very pricey..

 

OK, it's been a few weeks since my kit was installed and almost a week that it's been at the tuners, so I don't have it back yet, but I wanted to post a teaser pic and bring this thread back to the top, cause I had lost it!

You know what's up! Only pics I have right now has my MAF sensor zip tied to the wrong intake pipe, and I'm not posting those! If I get my car back this week, I'll post better ones this weekend. You know all anyone wants to see is that manifold anyway! and I wanted to get a shot of that vacuum block up, but you can't relly see the logo on it.

Yea, doesn't that manifold hit the hood at all? Yea, I will for sure post up pictures when I get it done.

 

Motor was put in this past weekend, manifold fabrication has started, I've been told at least a week (with no interruptions), then off to get coated (that's a surprise).

Downpipe and all other piping will be fabbed after the turbo is placed. Fans need to be moved, fuel rail is almost done being fabbed, but all the lines need to be run and the tank pump needs to be modified still. An entirely new engine wire harness needs to be fabbed as well.

Then all the tuning needs to happen including the two step and the traction control.

I'm hoping by the end of summer to be riding dirty :D

 

No biggie right no anyhow. Its probably going to rain everyday until your cars done anyhow.

No, but we did have to remove the material on the underside of the hood and put some gold heat reflective tape under the hood to keep the paint from pealing.
Had to remove the plastic valve cover as well cause it would melt.

 

What about the plastic radiator/fan shroud, still in there?
