what is about to be said is strictly based on opinion, it is your own car and your own taste
to start, whoever said this car is sick, or even begins to think it needs to take time to reevaluate their life as a whole!!

oil pan+candy paint=overkill

wastgate+atmosphere vent to engine bay=fail

valve cover+turbo badge=what the f**k???!!!%%??**

taillights+tint spray=orange peel

I LIKEY YOUR MANI THO!!!!

i avoided all of that, spraytintftl, i used a thick smoked layover film...easily removable if need be and doesnt leave me with ruined tails. He used a film on the headlights, dont know why he didnt go that route on the taillights, all about uniformity to keep a car clean in my opinion.

EDIT: take a good hard look at the tails, well not even hard, did you even look at them??...orange peel delivery on the way.

Nothing to avoid when you use the right stuff. I don't know what he used or if it's orange peeling or not cause I don't really care that much. But just chiming in that the RIGHT stuff does not = Orange Peel. VHT Painted for 4+ years here.

Don't ever see a need to remove it, so not to worried about removal.

lmao @ Troy!! Tail lights have been that way for who knows how long and no orange peal. The turbo badge on the valve cover was a joke too. If removed it... i hope you didn't lose any sleep over it. Oil pan isnt painted... but powder coated. Overkill... perhaps, but thats how i roll. It was off the car when i coated everything else, so hell... why not. And.. since you liked that so much.. i powder coated the timing chain cover and the engine support bar aswell Wastegates dumped to atmosphere... sho did! haven't had any issues with anything, but i guess thats bc my car sucks and its a major fail ;)

I wasn't speeding crazy. I was in a convoy of Scion's heading to a car show in Springfield, MO, and the cop picked my car out of everyone to pull over. now thats a fail!

BTW Troy... i didn't use a film on the headlights. They were cheap pos lights i had in my garage... so i sprayed those too. I have stock 05 headlights on the car now.

AND... More Powder coat pics just for you brotha

Timing chain cover & water pump pully

Support bar & Oil Pan

Water Lines

Radiator Support bar was also powder coated not painted. Look hard... like you did at my tail lights.

also notice in the last pic that the turbo badge is gone, and i have a sprk plug cover.. i'm gonna have to go with = Bling!

awwww this is cute!!!, powder coated, painted, still overkill...and homeboy like i said its your car and my opinion, if you decide to take some advice away so be it, if not f___ it, this iz daa innerwebz so ignore it. sweet infant baby jesus, glad the turbo badge was a joke, whew!!, and as for the wastegate, mine is atmosphere as well, but done the proper way, vented to the underside of the car...not vented to the bay causing engine temps to skyrocket....im assuming you know turbo's and egt's....with that being said, dumping gate exhaust into the bay is just f___retarded...im glad your car runs good (for now), your shortening the life of your turbo and engine in the long hall tho dumping exhaust into your bay....my major honest and most useful advice would be to run a dump tube...your call tho bro.
