power steering pulley problems
So i am having to replace my head gasket and i am stuck at the power steering pump pulley so i can get the timing chain cover off. Any help asap would be appreciated......pulley puller doesnt fit either as a side not engine is still in the car.
I haven't looked at it because I haven't needed to but can you just remove the pump all together or were you already trying to do this? Why did you not pull the engine to do this? I don't see there being enough clearance in doing this with the engine in place to ensure your timing is exactly right. Is it possible yes but I would rather be 100% sure by having the engine out and getting a full view not just a mirror view of the timing marks and etc.
Well i am in college and live at an apartment complex and have no access to a hoist or garage but the timing and everything is already at TDC. i can try to remove the whole pump and see.

X2 mark everything.
everything that has to be marked is marked its not first time working on a car. I have put many hours into working on Jeffs old white tC the one featured on modified. I am just trying to see if there is any way to get it off with out having to pull the engine.
ya i was out there with a crow bar but i didnt put to much pressure on it wasnt really sure if something was gonna break but tomm i guess i can get out there and pry it harder...... sorry if it seems like i have an attitude it just sucks working on a car with limited resources lol
