Default powerloss supercharger

aye mtxgalant96, im having the same problem as you. i feel lyke my kar is pushing like 178hp not 200hp. im still gettin beat by rsx type s. you said you brought the greddy e-mange for your supercharger and got it tuned. Where did you get it tuned at??

I dont know where u guys live but down south my F/I trucks lose around 25-35hp in the summer do to heat .

Hey dude, I am running just Barely faster than an RSX type S with intake and exhaust in this heat in Texas..
One thing you definately need to realize also is that if you are driving around for a long time you will have a considerably high heatsoak... Also, dont forget that you will want to run those RSXs from either a dig or a 2nd gear roll... They have a slight advantage in the higher gears.

Heat is nasty to the sc. I took out all my seals around my hood front and rear to get some airflow, next is the kaminari hood for more cooling and some other goodies. Here in Az were it is 107-112 any given day, power loss is common with sc and turbo vehicles especially in traffic. I am also having a custom heat sheild made for the Megan header to help with underhood temps. That baby is scalding hot 8" away after a good run.
