Default problem with turbo timer

well i got all the wiring done for the greddy turbo timer and i connected the timer but it is not counting down when i turn off the car. i think it may be that the e-brake connection isn't good or maybe i need a different power source-i saw that on the apexi diy hey had an extra 12v source connected.
i have
red to red
blue to yellow
green to blue
brown to black
purple to purple

or is there a chance that the ground wire my have to be moved to a different spot?

try grounding the wire that goes to the E brake , that is how I bypassed the need to use the e brake .

i'm thinking about changing the blue wire to the gray so that it may stay on. the grey is the accesory wire so it might just keep it on

Not to derail the topic but does anyone know how to keep the radiator fan coming on when using a TT and the car is shut off? Im running into the problem when the TT is active and the water temp goes above 203 degrees (when the fan typically turns on to cool it down) the fan wont turn on. Thus I dont feel safe just letting the TT cool the car if that fan isnt switching on. Dont know if there is a mod to turn this fan on or if I would need to hardwire a switch for the fan to turn on?

Just use synthetic oil, and ditch the turbo timer. Synthetic doesnt cake, I wouldnt worry.
