It's funny I never heard anyone saying anything about Amsoil. I decided to give it a try since it's cheaper than what I had before, when using the preferred customer discount. The Royal Purple I had in there worked alright until I went past 3,200 miles on the oil, it sheared badly and my oil catch can would also collect extra oil. By the time I did the change (3,650) I had already added 2/3 a quart of make up oil. So far the Amsoil is working good and no excessive oil in the catch can like before, we'll see in the long run though it would be foolish to assume. I'm hoping to find an oil that I can go 4,000 to 4,500 oil change intervals.
Also for those looking for an air filter replacement fro K&N or AEM, I bought mine for $35 with the preferred customer discount. The PCD is only $10 buck, if you plan on buying a year supply of oil this is def for you. All together I saved $57; oil and oil filters for my car and wifey's, air filter and some mothers wax
Received everything in two work days.
