Default PVC thread size and pitch?

Anyone know? I'm trying something new with the crankcase venting system and wanna order parts today but I'm at work and the car is at home.

Im not to sure bud. But i can tell you that hole is not the best for reliving crank case pressure. When i was doing mine. I unscrewed the valve and put water threw it. And it ended up going through a little hole on the black inner cover.

i ended up just drilling to new holes and welding two -10 fittings to the front! May not be as pretty, but worked well!

I though that was because the valve cover is baffled to minimize sucking oil.

Like you ran water through the pvc valve? I'm confused.

I was going to run mine like most supra guys do...

Remove pvc, run a line from the pvc hole to oil tank, line from side valve cover vent to oil tank, then line from oil tank to intake pipe pre-turbo.

Sucking out as much blowby as possible since the pvc is useless under boost. This way the suction from the turbo will pull out blowby causing a vacuum in the crankcase sealing up the rings better and the oil vapor condensing in the oil tank hopefully.

I was thinking about it and thought that this setup prolly wont work too well unless you on a AEM EMS or Hydra because you'll be on speed density instead using the maf. I could be wrong....just a thought.

I ran water threw it while cleaning it off the car. And its not a huge open whole going to the valve cover its like a 3/8 hole. Meaning ur not gonna get much pressure pulled out

Meaning a hole where the pcv was?

I plan on using some type of an fitting there which is why i need the thread size.

pressure does build up under the valve cover which is why Im trying to vent it as much as I can for better ring seal. The sucking action from the turbo would create a vacuum in the crankcase sealing up the rings and preventing oil leaks or a seal blow out.......right?

Read up on what supras do. I think we are not thinking the same things.

I see what your saying I like that vacuum idea alot and makes perfect sense. I planed on venting both like in the picture above to the atmosphere but I think I like the idea of putting it back into the charge pipe better due to the vacuum is better

If you look at rados engine and look at his setup you'll see how I wanna set mine up. He uses a vac pump like on full race cars. I wanna use the turbo suction to get the same effect. Its not like the honda pic which just vent to open air.

do it!! i just vent mine to atmosphere. crankcase pressure has always been high in my car. i think thats why the front main seal has leaked oil for the past 2 years. and change the thread title from pvc to pcv.
