Question...
Alright my friend is gonna give me his eclipses stock turbo and intercooler, my question is, what manifold if any would I be able to use? and I am really at like a crosroads of what to do, I know its a small turbo, and I don't really wanna do any engine work, so couldn't I run it at 6-8 psi with no issues?
The turbo can work but it will take some work to get it done. The T25 turbo does not flow that well so when the RPMs go up it may start tapering off, due to our larger than 2.0L displacement.
The internal wastegates on those turbos are set as 12psi so I'd weld that shut and switch to an externally gated setup. ZPI I believe can get you a T25 flanged turbo. We use the T3 flange.
As for your intercooler... The DSM intercooler is a plastic sidemount and will not really work on the tC. I'd upgrade to at least a cheap one from ebay if you're looking to do something cheap.
On a budget it could work, but only on a budget. There are much more powerful turbo kits out there from different suppliers on these boards, including our own. If you decide to go with the T25 turbo, check thoroughly for any shaft play and check the bearings. Those things start really wearing out after 50k miles.

Its from a 97 GST Spyder, sorry I was lacking info, I'm kinda lacking info as well, lol. I am working on an extremely tight budget, I would love to get one of the kits that is offered but I would never be able to afford it. lol
Well then I'll leave my first post the way it is lol. You will be spending more money on getting the turbo welded shut, and buying a new wastegate, but that's less than paying to replace your motor down the road from running no less than 12psi all the time...
I would honestly consider a better flowing turbo from ebay or something, along with the IC. You'd have a better performance, and probably spend about the same amount. Plus there will likely be less miles on it.

This turbo will bolt to our manifold and downpipe. I would suggest a larger turbo we offer some inexpensive alternatives if you would like.. Doing a limited budget build of this nature on a new car is risky business. I would suggest nitrous or a more budget minded approch that will yield you safer results.
