Question about PiggyBack units for custom turbo kits
Are piggyback units such as the Greddy eManage or AEM FI/C really necessary for boosting the 2.4L engine on the TC?
even if I don't use massive injectors, can i run without a unit under safe boost like 6-9psi...im using a Saab t3 turbo. not looking for huge gains...maybe 250hp by the wheels 290-300hp at the crank.
Someone help me out here on this? I want to start gathering other parts for my custom turbo kit..

You can try to get away with no piggyback but your motor won't last without one on the PSI/power level you are looking for.
If you go for a 200-220 range on no more then 6psi and stock injectors you could get it to work but it might run a little rich.

I think anything bigger than the stock will make you run way too rich without a piggyback.
An inexpensive piggy back is a the emanage basic aka blue. It will probably be the cheapest out of all of them and you can always buy a used one.
