I'd say it's toast.

Get it? Because it caught on fire.

Sounds familiar, although I can't 100% recall if I've seen it, but we definitely should. Let me know whenever you get your car. good luck on the hunt!

Very true. I bought mine new in 05 with aspirations but have yet to get around to doing anything with it and probably won't. I mean with all the highway driving I do my bumper is all pitted and crap, plus I need all the fuel economy I can get, so there's no point in modding for me, not to mention my budget is going toward a wedding at the moment. I hope to be upgrading in a couple years though anyway, hopefully into a Subaru SVX, used NSX or a used Elise (preferably an S1). I hope to keep the tC for the practical car though.

well...that and I'd figure that investigating a car that went up in flames is a puzzle....and needs some time.

I guess.

Yea.. True.. So They cut me a check once they get the paper work back and then Im on my way. And, they can take however long they want. But, this happened on the 9th. The morons just went and tried to pick up the car and were denied to pick it up without my verification. They are definately dragging their feet.. lol

Just talked to insurance. Investigation is done. So, I will be gettin my check soon. And, will have my new car. $hit its been a long month.. But, Im satisfied. I think I will be gettin alot more money for my aftermarket parts being as he asked me everything I had done to the car down to exhaust n springs. And, my total was like $5,000 of aftermarket parts. So, I could be putting down a nice lil Down payment on this car. But, Id probably keep enough out of it to go ahaed and buy coilovers.. Cuhz I hate a stock height tC, and especially the body roll n handling.. So, I will let you all know what happens..

this goes to show you that even tho your car burns down..the UPS boxes will survive anything!

this makes me want to go insure my car for more money after the turbo!
