Default Read Please!

This is a noob question but.. What are you guys doing about your warrantys? From what I understand most upgradeable parts not made by Toyota will void your warranty. Is there a way to get around it?

No part will void your warranty unless it is solely responsible for an issue.

End of story.

Not entirely true. All the dealership has to do is CLAIM that it was responsible. As in the case of my xB. Had to pay to get the faulty factory slave cylinder replaced because the dealership said my Strup header damaged it. How the hell do you explain that!? The header is on the OTHER side of the motor. I HAD to pay for it because when i took it in i assumed and was reassured that it would be replaced under warranty. Well, the next day they call me up and say, "that'll be $$$$". I was like WHAT!? So yeah, i complained to Scion. Scion contacted the dealership and the dealership whined and whined. Made up some godly untrue things and still ended up having to pay for it. So yeah......no. I got my money back for it because i threatened to file suit for working on the car under the impression of warranted work and failed to call me and inform me that the parts and labored would not be covered. So in short hand, they charged me for parts and labor that i did not authorize.
