is it really true that the tc doesn't need any sort of fuel management for low boost of levels of around 5-6psi from a turbo setup??

idk every car ive ever put FI on always needed some sort of reprogramed or tuned piggyback to work right .... this doesn't seem logical to me .. is the tc's ecu really that good at adjusting?

wouldn't that also mean that the primary o2 sensor would have to be a wideband?

Depends on who you listen to. I wouldn't go without it but some are running a kit with no management and they say it's fine but others say it's way too rich. Spend the extra money to make sure you're safe.

^ exactly... spend the $500-$700 (depending on which you get with harness) instead of buy a new engine for like 1K plus after.

 

If you don't think it's a good idea, then don't do it. I don't think it's a good idea...I didn't do it.

But it HAS been proven and quite a few people are running certian kits at certain levels with no managemnt. I'm not sure how long they have been running like that for, but I STILL would not recommend it.

Then again, manegement with a crappy tune isn't much better then no management at all.

 

Get management and get it tuned. Not only will you feel the power difference, but you should feel a lot safer, and your motor will love you for it.
