Default Reflash for TRD Supercharger

SO I just got a disturbing call from the dealership installing my Supercharger on my tC. They got everything installed and realized that they do not have the reflash tool/key for the tC's. I talked with TRDSparks and they said it should be in the box, does anyone know about this?

They will be holding my car hostage for a week, until they can get something shipped from a different dealership.

Any information you might have would help.

05-06 supercharger kits came with a reflash MODULE. The reflash TOOL is something the dealership needs to purchase in order to use the reflash module on your car.

07+ supercharger kits use a computer that the dealership purchases to flash the ECU on your car. No module needed.

you should save that map and upload it somewhere for the rest of the TRD s/c owners looking to go emanage

unfortunately, your year needs that reflash tool for install. if the dealer is smart he'll call around and see if another dealer has it to borrow.........

Contact Hamer Toyota in Mission Hills, and see if they'd let your dealer borrow it.

My tC's a 2006 supercharged automatic.

Update:

I did some research of my own and the dealership up in Portland is next day airing it down to the dealership working on my car.

I can't believe they didn't think of doing that first. They wanted to ship my car up there at my expense.

Thanks for your support and suggestions.

I one question the dealership installed the 9.5lb pulley, you might want to make sure because, i doubt it due to the fact it voids the warranty?

They did install it, I just swapped out the 9.5lb pulley with the standard one when I gave it to the dealership.

I got it back on Saturday and I love it. I was sure surprised on how much power the SC actually has.

I am waiting for the gauges before I really push the SC, but I will get some videos of it then.

For an 06 they need the special tool, which is like 500-750 bucks.

Check around with neighboring states/dealers and make sure they have it before you give them your car. Or else you will end up like me.
