Default reinspired!!!

well guys as you all know i boosted my car like 2 months ago. it turns out the seals on the turbo were trash and it blew oil into my intake mani and did some major damge. well to make a long story short i blew the motor and now am carless the car is sitting in my brothers house in miami. i am gonna bring it back up here by the end of this month. my plan was to fix the motor go back to stock on everything and get and STi but ......... i was thinking of the good times in the tC and i have decided to keep it. i am gonna do a tranny swap and boost once again hopefully this time around things go well. do you guys think its better to boost the tC again and go for around 280whp or trade in for an STi? STi is sick as ____ but gotta always love your first car

If you have the money keep the TC and go for it. Don't get me wrong the scooby's are nasty but their cliche'. A turbo TC will give you more satisfication when you walk a mustang gt or I-roc(camaro). So it's your choice man good luck.

^ 2.0t gen coupes cant hold much more than 300whp stock and to get there you are loking at big bucks. I wanted one when they first came out but once I saw how they held up I was turned off.

dam uber lobsided lol. yeah i am def gonna keep the tC i remember when i first took my turbo tC out for a drive people were just looking like wow. it felt nice idk how much power i was making but felt good. also i am not trying to start a batle about sti vs tC just asking wat ya think. but the plan i got for now is go pick up the car and a new motor swaped in. order the parts for the tranny swap and a new turbine and then do it the rite way. its def nice to see when people are talking ish bout the tC but when you turn that car on and just drive str8 into boost their jaw just drops. thanks for all the input guys. if ya have any suggestiong plz shoot them my way. also if any one knows where i can get my turbine rebuild plz let me know. my goal is july 4 to be out on the street again boosted

I would have gone with the STi because of its AWD, reflashable ECU, LSD on all 3 diffs, already comes turbo'd and can make way more HP with stock block before you need to build. I loved my boosted TC but once you reach the limits of stock components it starts to get pricey with EMS, LSD, clutches, and stronger internals. Also, spinning 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear got kind of annoying. Idk this is just my opinion but in the end do what makes you happy.
