Default running without the s/c?

Ive seen others say that you can run with the TRD s/c in place but run on the fatory belt. So it just sits there while you work on it, and still have a "car".

does this hurt the engine? any effects it would have?

a mechanic ive talked too said id get garbage MPG and would feel the power loss, but it wouldnt hurt the engine.

just looking for confirmation really.

thanks

I did it for a few wks only experience power loss lol better than the bearings freezing and destroying s/c and engine imao..dont beat on your car use good gas should be alright if your really worried and plan on driving it like that for awhile grab a stock tuned ecu shouldnt be much and then youll be fine.

I took out my blower, intake, spark plugs & fuel injectors and threw back in some stock stuff in replacement and ran it like that with the stock belt
