Is it possible to change the intercooler ? like use to small ones that fit underneath the bumper support but have them sandwhich together and have custom end tanks to use both at the same time ?

why dual ICs? why the need for those?

 

I think the two in the picture were for test fitment... I believe the kit just runs one FMIC.

 

its actually been done before, its really a bad idea to block the radiator too but anyways if height is an issue for size but there is ample room for width, then having 2 rectangular ic connected to a custom end tank would work too.

 

Tube and Fin intercooler should supply plenty of air to the radiator, bar and plate is completely different. Im sure ZPI has already thought about this in their design/R&D.

 

Yup. Audi 2.7ts and 4.2t RS6s are twin ICs.
My allroad had 2 upgraded ICs.

 

but i doubt they will go with dual ic just to maintain everything OE inside the bumper.

just the cost alone vs using a mass produced intercoolers will raise the price

kit is coming we are sourcing a special coupler to make life a lot easier when this arrives we will have some final design pics for ya...We may need some one to test this for us as we like third party opinions...So if you are interested lets us know, it will not be for free but you will be hooked up to say the least..
