Just wondering if you could chime in on what you did concerning the Reflash from TRD on the ecu. My boy is buying my emanage from me and he has the S/C'er. I understand the reflash messes with you trying to tune the car with alternate management. He has the actual reflash tool itself, and some kind of rom that was replaced. Does he need to re-install the rom that was originally on the ecu or what?
to my knowledge the trd flash shouldnt interfere with tuning it with a piggyback any more than a stock ecu would...
id say it would almost save tuning time since it would be a "base map" type of thing.

m6ar2cel6oTC tuned his turbo setup w/ an emanage while he had the trd reflash installed, talks bout it in the thread, and getting it put back to stock is important. the trd reflash pulls alot of timing away from the emange.
did he have the emanage tuned first or he did the reflash after the emanage tune? if he did the reflash after then that would explain why it wouldnt work with his tune.. im thinking it should be fine
yuh it was me about the reflash and turbo. it was pulling timing everytime we tryed to adjust the a/f's. and it didnt pull timing always the same. it kept pulling different timing like one time it will pull 29 then 19 so we just tryed to make it as best as we can. but the dealer can reflash it for 95 bucks. just depends if they wanna do it or not depending on what you have in your engine. cause i called and they told me they can do it for me and then when i took it they caled me a couple of hours later saying they couldnt. which i know thats bull____. i think they saw my turbo under the hood and decided not to mess with the car.
we had no issues when tuning either. i would think it'd be less work to tune the reflashed ecu, than to bring it back to stock and tune it again. the reflash takes care of a lot of the work, and you can just use the emanage to 'fine tune' it.
