Default S/C pulley help!

sorry for so many dang questions, but does the s/c kit usually come with the key that unlocks the crankshaft bolt that holds the s/c pulley?

it is b/c i want to install the 9.5 nst pulley, but how do i take it out? any suggestions?

No it doesnt come with it. They make it that way so you cant mess withit. Because removing it can casue them to deny warranty work!

Well depends on what year your car is I think they changed something for the 07-08's but if it didn't then all you have to do is get a heat gun nd heat up the cover and then gently start pulling the cover go to trdsparks and pull up the instructions on how to do it nd that'll give u an idea on how to take it off

heat the bolt? how can heating take it off the bolt? isnt it screwed on?

and i cant find how to take it off the trdsparks.com :[

No no no, not heat the bolt, if a dealer installed your s/c then they most likely put on the s/c pulley bolt cover<---(not the real name I just forgot) and what they do is heat it up nd mold it over the bolt and then when it dries it stays on the bolt if u heat it up it will eventually come off jus b careful if u r worried about warranty work

They stopped using the tamper proof cap. They now use a tamper proof bolt. Someone has gotten it off, but it wasnt in great shape.
