Default S/C running lean?? *Update 9/7*

got supercharger installed last friday
before and after supercharger install i had CEL, code po136 B1S2
tech said it was no big deal

anyways, had my AEM Uego wideband and Autometer SportComp boost gauges
installed yesterday at PTuning in VA

after the install, had the tech pull it out and tell me i was running lean
at idle its reading 16.6-17.8 on the AF gauge
at WOT its reading 12.8-13.6
and at steady cruising speeds its reading 15.4

anyone have any thoughts of to why i would be running lean??
MODs are
Alphawerks header
TRD s/c
ZPI spipe
Creative Compacts full cat-back exhaust w/high flow cat
Racing Solution anti-fouler

now along with that, when hitting WOT the boost gauge is reading 10psi-13psi
wtf???

need experts input here as to any idea of what is going on or what i can do

my car is running lean also but I think its cause of my intake...its not running terribly lean, but way leaner than the trd reflash...heres my graph from the other day...my car is running like such crap with that belt that I have on and my exhaust leak that I almost lost to a Nissan Sentra SE-R last night

my AF reading looks about the same as yours
PTuning looked at the car and said there was no exhaust leak

any ideas on how to correct the problem??

any ideas on why the boost gauge is reading what it is??

As far as correcting the problem the only thing you can really do is add a piggyback and tune it out...I dont really know what the issue you are having but I know my lean condition is being caused by that intake...as far as the boost gauge goes, how did they hook it up...where did they tap into?

see what they say...It could be just the gauge, who knows...it sounds wierd though if you are running the stock pulley and its hitting that high...I dont think no matter where you tap that boost gauge that it would read that high...you got some freak blower or something you arent telling us about

haha, i wish
my blower is louder than the other s/c tCs ive been in and listened to in my area
so i dunno

but yea, that boost thing is weirding me out
but what im most worried about is the running lean, i dont want to be starving
the engine and s/c of fuel, ya know

im giving it back to the tech on monday after NOPI and have them look at it
see what he thinks or sees
may have to reflash again, i dunno

I would suggest double checking to make sure they installed the correct injectors for your kit and that they did the TRD ECU reflash properly. Maybe they slipped on a super custom NST pulley and never told you about it

haha, i wish
im giving it back to them monday to recheck everything
from the feedback ive been getting it sounds as if the high boost is in conjunction
with the running lean, so we'll see monday

but thanks for the replies

"For the boost reading, we tapped off the pre-existing vacuum line
coming off the manifold."

that is where the boost gauge was tapped
not sure if that would be causing the spike or not

Well if he's really running 10-12psi that would explain the lean a/f ratio.

Guys, at idle you aren't making any boost. A/F better be 14.7 or real dam close to that -or you have a bad A/F sensor.

just watching to see what happens. It could be the gauges.

that could be true since alot of people have had issues after removing and installing the sensor back on the header.

its pricey and i learned my lesson.
