Default S/C & TRD CAI Intake, will they fit?

Someone I know is getting rid of their intake, going turbo, and have offered me their TRD intake. Does anyone know if they will fit? The problem I have when looking at the Scion accessories page is that the sensor mounting on the piping is right where most of the s/c rubber hose is. Now when I look at the Injen intake, the sensor is right where the two pcs break for either SRI or CAI. I don't think anyone has done this one yet with s/c and intakes, but I might be mistaken.

Thinking about just getting the injen new, I know it will fit. What do most of you s/c guys have who aren't running the stock TRD setup?

ive been running my k&n setup for almost 6 or 7 months now I think. I just cut the part where the MAF adapter was and used it as a short ram

do you notice a good diff? at all from doing that i was thinking about doing the same but did not know if it worth 200$ for intake to cut it up or just buy a cheaper on sence it going to be short ram any way to the S/C that way i still have sensor and nice piping to short ram intake. bet it sounds good though

The problem I hear about chopping up an intake and putting it on with the s/c is an air/fuel mixture problem. I believe the turbulence created by removing the stock airbox throws the reading from the air sensor off.

ZPI was in the process of making an intake for the supercharger, but I haven't heard anything for a while. Garage1217 is also working on one and is in the testing phase right now. Looks to be promising, but he says he won't be mass producing them.

Modified Mag. did an ARC airbox and got 5whp and 3lbs of torque. I don't think that justifies the price but at this point a lot of us are at the end of our rope for making more hp with the boost we have without major modifications. I'd like to have ZPI's stage 2 long block with a custom 9:1 compression, 7500rpms.
