Default S1 kit cut

I am getting a serious fuel or ignition cut at about 4k-6k anyone have any ideas... i have run 105 for 3 tanks now... it got a lot better after I mad the switch to the higher octane but it still does it.... any idea (too cold plugs)( not enough fuel).. My A/F are great.. it runs a bit rich most of the time which is fine. The only other thing I can think of is to run a little more boost and see if it doesn't clear up... any thoughts

its the tune....has nothing to do with the kit........

When you changed your fuel did you retune for it?

Check your 02 sensors as well, they dont like allot of high octane fuel. Especially if you go back and forth allot.(switching between pump and high octane)

You need a set for pump gas and high octane

Todd

AEM and actually we re tuned it for 105 I use the same gas as I always do so It should be fine... how ever I haven't pulled the plugs yet to see if they might be a little too cold...honestly I think its an ignition cut.. although I think I might have some compressor serge which doesn't help

what do you consider "a little rich"?
what exactly are your AFRs at when you get the cut?

Spot on Todd. Exactly what I was going to say.

You might have fouled out your plugs and/or O2 sensor. Please check them all, retune and report back.

Rather doubtful if it's an off the shelf S1.

change your plugs to 1 or 2 step colder than stock with a proper gap. maybe around .035. your plugs might be gapped to wide or maybe its too cold? when my gap was too wide, i was having this problem. sounds like fuel/ignition cut but i don't think its really that. once i changed plugs with a proper gap, it went away.

LOL

Sometimes it's the simple things that screw us up. Glad to hear it's resolved.
