can anyone tell me how to setup the safc II on my 07' scion tc?? i don't have it installed yet, but i have the boomslang plug and play wire harness and i know its some kind of setup i have to do to once its hook up. i have dc sports headers, cold air injen intake and, a full exhaust with a aem eugo a/f ratio gauge installed. i just want to know what do i need to do once i plug the safc II in. what is the setup and everything and do i need to make any engine upgrades or anything???? thanx.

 

are you boosted? i have a boost map for the safc ii. the safc ii is not going to do anything for your setup unless you have different size injectors or let you tune under 4000rpms.

 

Naw, I'm not boosted. I'm naturally aspirated with DC sports headers, cold air intake, and full exhaust. So u basically saying I need bigger fuel injectors?? I just wanted to lean the fuel out a little bit. I heard I would actually be a tad quicker.

 

you cant tune the safc 2 under 4000 rpms. the stock ecu compensates for the changes. where exactly are you wanting to lean it out? you need a dezod black box to do what you want to do and not the safc 2 since youre not running bigger injectors.
