Default Safe to run the reflash w/o the supercharger installed?

Is it safe to run my car for 50 miles or so w/o the supercharger but with the supercharger reflash done to the car so I can get home from the dealership? Will the car just run like crap after teh reflash?

I'm not completely sure...but I can bet that it would not be safe at all. The supercharger kit includes larger injectors, so right off the bat the reflash is operating with the stock injectors. The stock engine/ecu is tuned for perfect air/fuel ratio's and now you are modifying the curve to compensate for boost, however you are not boosting. Maybe someone with more technical knowledge can elaborate on this. My recommendation would be to get the supercharger installed, then drive it the 50 miles extremely conservatively without the reflash, and then get it reflashed...but not the other way around.

I can reflash without the car being present rite? Like I can pull out the ecu and get a ride up to the dealership and get them to flash it like that rite?

yeah, you can't drive the car with the reflash without the ecu, it will probably run really rich and foul up the injectors, if you drive it with the superchargers but no reflash, it will run really lean and detonate, which is really bad.

you can send your ecu to zpi and they will reflash it for you and send it back asap.

but it would just be alot cheaper to get the car towed then to fix what you break by driving around with an improper tune.
