I worked on the car today and made a lot of progress.
Finished wiring the QTP electric cutout and also finished the wiring connections that needed to be made from under the car. Installed the plastic covers and also finished installing the I/C pipes although I broke one of the T-bolt clamps
and now I am one clamp down.
I also installed the custom brackets that we made for some of the I/C pipes. They are used to prevent the silicone hoses from popping off under high boost
. We already popped one off during the dyno sessions at only 16 psi so we decided to give it a try.

So at this point I am pretty sure we are going to start the engine late tomorrow and hope everything is OK!
This is the car at this point....

Thanks for watching,
Pito

JAJAJAJA!!
You are right but I found out that ScionGT35R took the valve cover to be Powder Coated and it still had the oil cap on it. He did it because I was supposed to pick the new one at the speed shop.
But.......
Guess who has the receipt needed to pick the oil cap....
Pito
P.D. I will go beyond my duties tomorrow to go and pick-up the oil cap before starting the engine.
Today we finished installing everything after almost 4 hours of looking for parts (random parts). We finally removed the car from the jack stands after more than a month of hibernation.
I disconnected the crank sensor and proceeded to install a spare battery since the one that is supposed to be there was discharged. Checked for correct levels of all fluids on the car and after seeing everything was OK
we decided to start cranking the engine for about a minute in several tries (it wont start cause the crank sensor was disconnected). The OEM oil pressure light turned off after about 30 seconds but we continued cranking anyway since we wanted to make sure the engine was well lubricated before trying to start the car.
Since we have an in-line oil filter on the line going to the turbo we decided to disconnect the line after the filter where it enters the turbo to make sure it was receiving oil pressure. With the line disconnected we cranked the car once again to check for pressure and it was OK
. The line was re-installed and the engine was checked for leaks all around and below.
As everything was fine we then connected the crank sensor and started cranking again and it took about 10 seconds for the engine to finally pressurize the fuel system and then it started ........Finally......
The engine sounded good but it was idling very high and it had a misfire. Sometimes the misfire caused the engine to die. We checked for leaks once again and found there was a very small leak in the injector for the second cylinder.
Since it was barely leaking we decided to continue checking the engine and to fix the idle problem. After looking for a couple of minutes we realized one of the vacuum ports on the throttle body had no hose and air was entering the system....
We installed a plug on the port and the engine started OK
.....
......But it was at this point we noticed fuel leaking on the fuel return line really bad
and for the amount of fuel that was leaking we immediately turned off the engine.
After looking for the cause we found the flare on the fuel return hard line (-6 line that we installed) was not sealing correctly. Since it was already 10 PM and for the work needed in fixing the problem we called it a day and will continue on Monday.
This is the engine at this time minus the battery.....

Thank you! Actual updates and it's cool to see what problems you ran into. I'm loving it. The red accents things nicely. Can't wait to see the thing in action sometime (hopefully in a video terrorizing the rest of your city). Awesome work so far!

If the valve cover was white (as it previously was) then the red one would have been the best option.
