This is the new fuel rail setup and the fuel pressure regulator directly installed on it.

We started the engine on the old Walbro fuel pump. In the next couple of days I will be installing the twin 255lph Walbros in the tank and the new -8 fuel line.

Just wondering what kind of money do you have in parts and installs? If you don't mind me asking. I know mine is at (off the top of my head) over 8K for just the parts to go fast (turbo, motor parts, fuel, ect.).

Well that's just off the top of my head and just for what I mentioned. I didn't include any installs (or the motor install coming up), other mods, or the other money that has been lost from the whole zpi thing. I diffenitly have over $20K+ with all that other stuff.

Thats something I don't like to remember. It's like asking a womans age. I really has spended over 20K on the hole project including image, performance and ice. Ohhh this it's just on parts because Pito and I has done the labor. It's sounds like a lot to us but it's worth every penny just for the fun and the stress relief that we have every time that we work, speek or even think on the project. Trust me it's like having an orgasm!!!!!

i ahve 8K tied up in my audio/video system. i WISH i would have invested that else where.... 2k in wheels.. 2k in suspension... 2 k in brakes... 4k in the zpi stage 1 then 1500 in the gt30 ...a lot more once you factor in all the little knick knacks powder coating custom heat shield tuning labor.

i just wish i had the music 8k back.... mmmmm built motor.

Technically speaking I can't have the FPR on the wrong side because it doesn't even have one on the stock rail !!! It has a dampener, not a regulator.

I get what you are thinking because on the OEM setup the fuel to the rail comes from the throttle body side of the head but we are feeding fuel from the fuel pump to the other side (timing chain side)on the new fuel rail and that is why the regulator is on the opposite side.
