I think you are, got your PM. I would get a hold of Paul at Dezod or PM him about your tC. What you are looking for and he can guide you on the options. Since I will be doing an engine build the kit I have is a little different then the one you will/may need. Paul can give you the skinny on the kits.

The wiring is not that hard, the kit comes with the connectors and molex plugs. It is a really straight forward install, if you can cut and crimp wires you are all set. I think the hardest part is leaning over the tC as it is murder on the knees and back.

No need to paint it, Optima makes battery covers for the batteries, you can change the color as they are offered in RED, BLUE and YELLOW. I have never changed it, I will soon.

Funny thing is she asked me the other day how much they were. A lot cheaper then slamming down cash for an STI or Evo MR.

Can't wait to see it Kelly!

Yeah... he can buy a redtop and be somewhat ok.... although, I'd suggest having it truely color matched to the rest of the piping... it'd look ever cooler... for the red theme....

They don't make a "Blacktop", so I had to take care of my yellowtop...

I should be able to do that tomorrow. :D

The car was running good until I found a vacuum leak. I would have to defer this to Hanz “Goober”, our mathtician and nuclear physicist brought in to work on the tC. His claim to fame was the installation of the plug and play emanage. I’m now afraid to turn on the wipers, he may have wired the fuel injectors to the wiper fluid!!

No, quick and easy fix. A vac line came off the pressure sensor.

A simple oversight that is easily corrected. Not sure that this constitutes “problems are starting” and I’m sure those that have ventured before me in the forced induction of SC and Turbo installs have a few days of shake down.

Yes it was easily fixed with a clamp. I do recall that we heard the leak the night before but with the valve near the intake filter whistling it was masking the leak. Even with the leak the car ran fine, idled well and pulls hard. The last two days I was going out and running and then rechecking the car. No issues at all other than that, I have to say that I am very happy!!!
