Bro - we all told you this already.. it's not necessary. Your own tuner has told you..

All it does is checks to see if the cat is working properly. You're catless - so who cares?!

it is only necessary if you dont' want a CEL light for your catalytic convertor. just put in an second o2 bung and foul it so you don't get a CEL.

luiggi wasnt 100% sure, we were tuning today and we did partial throttle and idle and starting doing WOT pulls.. the car would break up on nearly every WOT pull and he said the fuel trims were right on target so we got kinda confused... then all the sudden my partial throttle started breaking up and everytime i tapped the gas in 3rd at like 3.5k rpm it would just instantly break up.. i think my plugs are gone though but im not sure it would cause all that, and i need bigger injectors now

If you really feel your 2nd O2 has something to do with it, put a defouler on it... but I doubt it's the issue.

only the primary o2 sensor effects a/f ratios with the ECU, the secondary one is just there to detect if the cat is working or not. it has zero effect on the ECU's a/f ratios, it is also alot cheaper than the primary o2 sensor.

and no matter what you're tuning with, the piggyback ecu doesn't even know the secondary o2 sensor is there.

Anti-fouler's are worthless. You don't need to run one to avoid a cat CEL.

i get a cel without mine, are you just getting lucky or did you physically do something to keep your cel away?

meh, the one i got with my weapon-r header works pretty good. i get like one CEL a year, usually in the spring. strange phenomenon. i notice the engine idling kinda rough, and then soon i get a CEL, i check the scanguage, i have the defficient cat code, clear it and suddenly the idle is smooth again. not sure why, has happened twice so far. i think it is maybe the change in air density from winter, so after running on cool dense air, it doesn't adjust right away to the warmer air, runs rich and then triggers a CEL. but since it isn't really a problem, i haven't really looked into it.

No clue then. I'm not running any anti-fouler, no cats...nothing and I've never seen any turbo related code (only code my car has thrown since tuned is P0500 which is from my navigation).
