Compression test came back all cyl good. Is it possible that I could have a brand new o2 that is fouled already? Would the o2 be fouled from excess gas causing it to be stuck rich aka fouled. I fixed the vac leak in the manifold but could it be possible the o2 is fouled still?

yes replaced a/f o2 and rear o2 recently after I fixed the intake gasket now everything was fine no more p2196 or p0304 codes. BUT now I have the lean code p0171. all vac lines are good no smoke no extended crank (for the most part) sometimes it takes a tad "little" longer than usual. no missing coolant. check light comes and goes. yesterday plugged up a friends tech 2 scanner and the light went away after we starter the tc...weird bc we didnt clear the codes just had it plugged in. he is a certified tech and said he has only seen that once or twice in his 30+ yrs as a mechanic. he also said that the lean code is probably due to a old MAF sensor...ive only got 132k miles so who knows. ive cleaned the MAF twice within the last 20k miles. could be that it needs to be replaced now too...

P0171 is a MAF on our cars. Cleaning it doesn't always work and can actually cause damage. Time to replace it. I may have one in my toolbox I can send you o

How's the O-Ring on your MAF? I need to replace mine cuz it's all stretched out. Would you be willing to send to me?
