RS3 upper grille size reducer FTW. I love how it adds aggressiveness to the front end
But on the previous point of boosting and not racing, I love the mid throttle response and full throttle capability of a turbo car on the street but I don't street race. It's just plain stupid in my area. Too many cops and pedestrians. It's just nice knowing you can get out your own way in a hurry if need be. My 5k was well spent. Ultimately, different strokes for different folks. Stock was too slow and S/C has too many problems and bang for the buck is low.

Mine is hidden and my BOV is recirculated. You can hear the turbo whine, but if you didn't know what to listen for you'd think it wasn't what it really was. The end result, I don't get a lot of people trying to race me... evar.

Not really. Car doesn't lose power because of it. Just maybe a very small amount of compressor surge in between shifts if you shift like a grandma at WOT.
My gauges (boost and Uego) are in my cubby panel below the raido

Wow you are changing this thread all around , Its good because there are many things to change or cover to make the car less flashy from haters .

If you put the grille over it you will have a chance of hitting something (or something hitting you ...say a bird or some bs in the road) - if you have the FMIC w/o anything covering it you will surely have to replace it if you hit something. Ive seen it happen so there are odds

daily driver, yes grill can save your IC to some extent.. One time a frog got stuck on my old grill driving like 90sh mph, it ripped the thin gutter guard grill but save my IC from even slight damage

A frog ? from the looks of your background pictures it looks like you live close to a forest lol . Wow a frog , well here in miami we dont get exotic animals like that , but we get bricks , piece of trees , rocks, bumpers etc so im thinking of finding the RS1 grills somewhere .

I don't have any pics of my cubby panel gauges yet. I'm not satisfied with my "tweaking" but I can tell you I just ordered the Doc Isotope blank panel and I'll be mounting them with that. They are just a tad out of sight depending on which gear you are in if you are street tuning the car but the laptop display makes them pointless anyhow (while tuning). Once I get a clean install of them both, I'll post pics. I'm also in the process of doing my LED swap so I'll get you pics after that as well.
