yeah, but i can't do a rear seat delete without having, racing seats, harnesses, and a harness bar. it just wouldn't feel right to me without those things lol
and as my girlfriend pointed out to me, that having a two seater would suck because if we go anywhere, i can't take anyone else.
but it's probably still going to happen! lol

But that's also the point of my getting a 2door car. If theres an option of car pooling mine is last because it's small. (then i boosted and now everyone wants to drive in it because they think it's sweet so that point is null lol)
I came across your car on craigslist.
Are you seriously trying to sell a modified car for twice its book value? I thought that people realized that aftermarket mods hurt resale value years ago.
Part the damn car out, don't ever tell anyone you modified it, and you might get book value. No one wants to buy someone else's modded car. If you tried to trade that in you'd be looking at 6k on a good day. Cut your losses bro.
And seriously man, don't waste your money on an S2K. I have had an AP1 GPW for 4 years...it's not fast. At all. My Accord V6 6MT kicks the crap out of it in a straight line. It's built for fun and handling, not speed. Seeing as how it seems you only lowered your tC for the sake of lowering it and didn't do anything else for handling, this doesn't seem to be a priority. You will get bored with and destroy an S2K trying to make it fast if your tC is any indication. Buy a car that is legitimately fast. Hell, you can get a C5 Z06 for not much more than a good condition AP1. You can get a ponycar for much cheaper still.

thank you for coming to my thread, appreciate it.....
and i don't know if you saw on the post, it was OBO, so it could be lower. I wouldn't trade it in because i would only be getting about 9k for it (already got a quote from a dealer for that much)
and i didn't lower my car just to lower it. If i did i would have went with different springs that just slammed it, but instead i went with springs that put it more into the sweet spot for handling. Also got a rear sway and a front strut. also better tires. I'm doing auto cross this year with my car. but i don't care about handling. and i reallllly don't want a car that goes fast in a straight line and can't handle (ie "pony car")
also if you read this thread (probably didn't) you would see that i'm not even full on selling it. If someone wants to buy it, cool. if no one wants to buy it, cool.
so again... thanks for coming to my thread and if you want to leave that'd be fine too.

soooo, basically nothing new, except for new things breaking. I bought a set of ARP exhaust manifold studs because 3 of the OEM ones broke. After a month of driving, a few of those nuts came loose so i went to go tighten up one of them, and half a turn past hand tighten....SNAP! apparently i'm the first person to ever do that.
I put in a new axle, because, after having replaced my drivers side axle less than a year ago, both boots were torn, the axle was bent, and the spider gear wasn't seating right.
also got a new drivers side wheel bearing because that one was not working very good.
both my AEM fuel pressure, and UEGO decided to stop working. Brand new sensor on the UEGO, and still nothing there. All the wiring is good, but still not working. So i'll be ditching those once i get the money and going with PLX probably, because i have boost and oil pressure by PLX and they work great.
pretty soon i think i'll be needing a new transmission, because when draining the fluid from the axle, there was some metal shavings, so lucky me.
hopefully it'll run for the next autocross event. i drove my schools formula car last weekend in one and even though that thing is wayyyyy faster and handles better than my car.. i still wanted to run my car!

Car is now for sale as I am moving to NYC. Cleaning it up and taking some pictures of it before posting a sale thread her and on CL.
For those of you who have contributed to my build either by selling me parts or helping me with questions; I really appreciate everything you have done. This community is what made owning a Scion so great. It's been a great trip, and I will stay an active member helping whenever possible.

selling it with the car of course! lol i have my old stock hood, but it's in horrible shape. i couldn't justify selling it and putting the stock one back on.
I was really excited about it going flat any color. I was throwing a bunch of options up in the air for what I could have done. I guess once I get rich in NYC i'll have to get an FRS or, even the new supra! and then go crazy on that! haha

Yeah man, I'm definitely interested in getting an FRS when I finish up with school. Not sure I'll ever be able to part with the tC though...
If you decide you gotta part out your tC for any reason, hit me up.

i wish i could part it out, but i honestly won't have the time. I want to be moved to NYC by the end of june. My original plan was to trade in the tC and get the FRS, but then me and the girlfriend decided to move to NYC.
I was going to get the FRS as a graduation gift to myself after graduating this year lol but i guess i'll just furnish our apartment instead
