I think, and I could be wrong, if you stuck with the standard 89mm bore, you can rev a little better. Like if you plan on reving high enough, it's recommended that you stay with the standard bore.

were ur cylinders tapered or out of round if so then there is no reason to sleeve your block. just my .02 cents

yeah thats true but you can just messure your cylinders to make sure they are ok. and they usually already come cated with cast iron. oh and you just need to hone it to make like new again.... i'm just trying to save you some money

yeah just research some more no need to spend money were it isn't needed if i would to build an engine which will probably be in the near future then i would focus on cooling, lubrication and the stength of the connecting rods, bearings, and bolts. oh yeah don't forget about precision measuring, and super super clean block and area to work in

our stock liners are a joke power to darton the only sleeves to run you blow a piston you can put in the new sleeves yourself after they have been in once they press in and out seperatly

i would stick with 88.5 stock bore size. this way, after x amount of miles when your internals finally wear down, loose compression, and score your cylinder walls. you will most likely have to bore it out then to fix any scratches. this way you get the most miles out of your sleeves.

i dont know if you've taking the head off yet, but the stock sleeves are so thin its scary!!! they look like they are about 1mm thick, if your going to go to 89mm i would recommend sleeving the block, and 92mm is bigger than the bore and the sleeve diameter easily

i was hoping to use the stock sleeve for a 89mm bore piston...then i took the motor apart and saw those wieny sleeves, i wouldnt risk it, get it sleeved, you'll have much more confidence in your motor

if you are shooting 400hp up better get it sleeved while you're building the motor

I wouldn't recommend going 92 mm on boost ... 90 mm is the biggest you can go if your boosting.

why not 92mm on boost? wouldnt the stronger sleeves be able to handle the bigger bore?

What I understand is that the stroke on this motor is already long. And increasing the bore that much would make it worst as far as reving ability.
