sleeve block
Manley Rods, ACL bearings and Wiseco pistons are what I recommend. K1 are fine if going for lower power levels I suppose. I'd rather spend a little more and know that the rods are good for 1000 HP just for safe measure.

getting carrillo rods h beam

exactly, it would be nice not to have not only a powerful motor but a long lasting one too.. If I build my motor, i would get the high rated stuff and have it tuned high boost but ran just medium psi level after
Keep one thing in mind......
wether you spend big money on a big motor with all the high dollar high hp rated parts or you go the budget route with rods/pistons on stock sleeves...
If you don't invest in good fuel management and tuning.......its worthless.(MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE PROCESS)
Built motors and stock motors fail the same ways......just cause you have a built motor doesn't mean a thing. (yes you have more room for error but the principles are the same)
I have seen more customers make more power on stock/mild built motors with good tuning and good fuel management than built setups that went cheap with the management/tuning. Most think that with a built motor they are safe.

im like, "if i build my motor i wont have to worry about my crappy street tune"
Looks like my sleeve set-up was about 650 for the sleeves, install, and a bore and hone. I did the deck myself so I cant tell you what that would cost if thats something you would want to do.
