Default SLIM RADIATOR FANS QUESTIONS ? ?

Are you guys splicing the original harness to wire them in ? I am about to install mine but I dont know whether I want to splice the ones on the fans on the original ones or the original harness. I want it to be clean. any suggestions ? and also do i have to change one of the blades around so that one pushes and one pulls ? I got the radiator zip tie things from autozone to install them. I still want them to kick in like the factory and how is the cooling if it has to go through the condenser ?

you flip the blades over and wire them opposite, so blue to black and vice versa (for the fans that todd provides at least)

I have Mishimoto fans. I spliced them into the factory harness. It isn't too bad, just make sure the connections are good and that they are water tight. I used some good heat shrink tubing to make sure they were protected from the elements.

Right now, I have both of my fans set up to pull, but will be switching one around to push to make sure I have enough room for my intercooler piping. As it is now, the fan will rub against the silicone coupler and I don't want it to wear a hole in it. All you have to do is switch the blades around though.

You can switch whatever you want. I have seen figures that say pulling air through the radiator gives you 15% more cooling power than pushing it through. That is why I am going to leave one fan pulling and just switch the second to push so that my intercooler piping has more room.

I just clipped the stock connectors off and soldered on the wires to run the new fans. It isn't too difficult.
