SMALL BOOST ISSUE
ok so heres the verdict. i did another boost leak test and realized that the compressor housing was leakin like crazy. i fixed that and now all is tight. i took the car down the rd and still the same thing. im only hittin 5-6psi. so just for hahas, i disconnected the fic (also cuz fixin the boost leak changed the tune) and the car is running like a raped ape. i havent done any wot runs due to the fact that i dont wanna lean out so i just made a few passes at about 1/2 and easing into 3/4 throttle to keep a afr of around 12.2-12.4. my next step is to change the mid pipe or cut the resonater/cat out of the mid pipe and see if that changes anything. the diaphragm on the wastegate is fine im always very careful when replacing that and i take the wastegate off to do it.
im thinkin that it has something to do w the tune for sure due to the fact that 1.) im still using the stock injectors, 2.) im not sure of the stock injector response time, and most importantly 3.) im not dyno tuning, im just tuning off of my wideband (i know its not the correct way but i wanted to learn and understand the fic program)
as for the vaccum filters, that seems like a good investment to make... im gonna have to look into it.
