Some more teaser eye candy for you all! I found pics of the collector last night and now I cannot find the stupic pics haha, when I find them you will ALL be impressed. The guy that made it does flawless work and the insides are sexy as metal gets!

The frontmount on my kit is a monster, chosen for the hp goals I am looking at. The crash bar was notched and it actually mounts to the crashbar with two seperate mounts on the underside. This thing is solid as a rock and will probably add more protection than the crashbar *LOL*!

Some sexy welds for you all, courtesy of Mr. Roboto!

More of the wicked header!

More pure yummy welds, does not get any more sexy than that! And for the glazed comments *LOL* glazed is for Dohnuts, flywheels and brake rotors. Not found on these welds *LOL*!

Can you post up some pictures of the manifold before it was polished?

I know it might be just the collector and the runners as normally you polish these 1st then weld them afterwards, but from the looks of your manifold it was polished afterwards. Anyways be nice to see some pictures of the manifold un polished.

Do you pictures of inside of the collector?

Thanks

Todd

Yes, As stated above pics of the collector will be posted when itwas being built, somhow lost them during the build. Also yes as common practice, the header was mocked up, certain parts that could be welded were finished and then sent to polish. The the final welds were placed, some of them being polished over because of how the process works.
Also if you look at the last page, there is a pic of the header during the test process before she was put together.

May I ask why you are interested when you are also producing kits..? We stay totally focused on our work and stay out of other companies posts as we have no need to look at what you / they do, would it not be polite to do the same..? If your looking to purchase from Intense or have parts built by them, or just admire nice work then that is a different story and it is appriciated.

Please don't take my asking for pictures as negative. I just like to admire welding/fabrication work and honestly with the pictures you have posted you can't tell a whole lot. I just wanted to see some raw pictures thats all. Nothing against what you and intense have going and honestly more people like us the better for the Scion community.

Just wondering if any thoughts to adding more cooling air to the header area from a hood scoop to keep heat from building up around the turbo and all that beautiful piping! I would think that ceramic coatings to insulate them might work better although it may not look as chromie.

Understood and appriciated. Yes the collector pics are important and I have them, just have to locate them and get them on here. No one will have a complaint when they see them. Everything is first class top notch work and this is just the first production version! Here is a pic I found that may be what you want to see, this is runner 1 and 2 during fab. Like I said, the weld quality is 1st rate.

Also for the simple purpose to avoid companies trying to copy this design, super detailed all angle shots will not be given. I already had a competing company message me under a different screen name askng for all kinds of pics and specs and fab info. Very uncool.

I agree on the ceramic coat, and yes it will definitly be an option. We chose polished as my car is also a show car and polished just blows ceramic out of the water looks wise to me, As for added cooling, that is up to you "hood vents etc...". I removed my rubber seals long ago around the hood which helped a lot with the sc and now with the turbo setup. The heatsheild helps a MASSIVE amount also along with the turbine housing being ceramic coated. All items like that are optional, some may be standard features of the kit.

Where those some extensive tack welds in this pic? It looks like it was not totally finished welded. Also was this back purged? From a fabricator's stand point, curiousity runs deep when viewing someone else's work.

No it was not even close to being finished at that point which is obvious, we would not run a header still tacked together
