So today i went down to boca to put my tune back on chads car.

Went to the dyno. The lower numbers were best out of 3 for the tune "another" shop did.

The higher numbers were best out of 3 for my tune. Notice the power falling off towards the end on the other tune!

ALL in all chad was happy! Untill his tranny broke

But we gotta spare for him!

Tranny didnt BREAK! the dumb sleeve the TOB rests on was already cracked off a bit from someone forcing the car to drive and shift with a broken TOB from the stage 4.. not saying names. but we think the whole thing just cracked off now. The 380whp was the same exact tune i put 417whp on deliriums dynojet. It read 37whp lower on this dyno which rage-tek themselves said reads lower than all other dynojets theyve ever seen so. with mikes M-Tune with meth i gained 40whp and 20wtq through the powerband and at redline 71whp and 53 wtq! car is retarded fast! On deliriums dynojet this would be like 450+

revving to 7.5k and the power is falling cuz its not ported and i dont have cams

Also make sure your looking at the final run!, the first run it dipped down to only 322whp and once i was done tuning it was at 393.


And theres a couple things making this happen.

One, this car has a log mani
Two, This car has a .63 hotside
Three, car has no head porting
Four, I beilve the 2" IC pipes are creating a resiriction!

Theres still some room in the tune from 4-6k rpms.

We ran out of time on the dyno as i was adding timing. IM going back down to boca soon, and when i do ill fix the power curve a little bit!

the hp/tq curve looks pretty balanced to me.. around 5K rpm looks like there's still some room for power.. the IC pipe is 2" all the way? sounds small for a 400hp setup, some combo of 2.25 and 2.5" pipes should free some restrictions

I good set of 2.5" pipes all around and some cams/ head work/ .82hotside/fuel return system/EL mani!

500whp no probs

good for you chad. happy to see your plans come to fruition. it doesn't really matter though seeing as how i own all other built motor FL tc's. thats right, i said it. come get some, all of you.




on a side note im pretty sure that florida has the most 400whp plus tc's. catch up world.

haha dont you think a nice chicgo trip would be nice! haha we got ams and sound performance up here but idk about sound performce they were swamped when i went int here with sexy supras everywhere and i wouldnt take a golf cart to ams haha and p tunning is so far!

Did you move up here yet?

When we hitting up speed world? I got a new 24psi tune im dying to try. I hate being only tc..

I'm just around the corner. give me about a month!!!! once i put my 3" exhaust going to 25 psi. lol

yeah, im up in gainesville now. the roads here suck. i miss south florida where all the roads are 3 lanes wide at a minimum. got my boost leak fixed so im back at 16 psi. cant wait to get a return setup.

rc 650's @ 82% duty cycle. using straight methanol injection to aid in fueling past 12 psi of boost.

i got 2.5" hotside already, just need 2.5" coldside.. dezod decided to make the coldside smaller than the hot
