Really? Serious? It's a cracked manifold. Man I was expecting a catastrophic failure! This is not even close to being a "show stopper".

Who hasn't had a cracked manifold should be the question.

Not coming down hard on you Soflo, just this is not "Un" common.

Chad, the first manifold was an outsourced edition which you obviously had an issue with. I sold you our most aggressive manifold at a screaming discount, and now this mani broke, which kind of has me scratching my head. I responded to your PM and asked for some more info.

The turbocharger you had gone through, we do not make. Turbos fail all of the time. Sometimes from improper oil supply, feed or drain. Sometimes from improper oil selection. Sometimes from improper warm ups or cool downs. It happens. Precision stands behind their pieces for 1 year.

Fitting 3 N/A cars and 3 turbo cars with the gasket with no leaks.

If you head flange is that badly warped due to EGTs etc, then NOTHING is going to stop it from leaking. We are not magicians. THis is not rocket science. It's simple automotive knowledge.

Excuse me? We have NEVER screwed ANYONE over at all. We have always tried to do right by all of our customers.

Understand though that there are external factors other than fabrication that can cause manifold failure.

Do you have an EGT gauge? What are your EGTs?

arent EGT's based on timing? i have 0 added timing because my car was just tuned for driving around with good gas mileage for now until we got the rest of the stuff.

^^ it has something to do with timing and fuel! too much timing retard will sky rocket egts, lean boost afrs 12.4 to 13s

I'm still trying to understand the whole EGT thing. Clearly advancing timing on the IGN map causes skyrocketing EGT's so why would anyone want to mess with them?

EGTs are directly related to timing and fuel as q whole. Too little timing (aka too much retard) can raise EGTs as well.

the stock ignition tune is well balanced with stock fuel map.. when you try to tune fuel, you need to do ignition too.. what boosted people usually do is pull/retard timing from stock tune
