spark plug gap for step 1 colder plugs
im currently on dezod turbo kit running 10 psi, stock internals,550 injectors, full exhaust,my currently spark plugs or ngk step 1 currently gapped at .32....im wondering if i have to close the gap to .29-.30 since im planning on going to 12 psi...
I had those plugs installed right before tune so I cant tell you if it would make a difference. They come gapped to .044 i believe so you will need to close them up anyways. Just get them to 0.030 or lower, +- 0.001 not a big deal)
i did a .29 see what happens,if i need lower ill do it ......everything seems alot smooth including idle...getting a retune anyway so if anything out of wack, ill be fixed....car seems alot more response, pulls harder,
so am i in the right ball bark to push 12 psi.....should i stay where i am or go higher or lower, even if im at 10 psi..whats the recommeded gap
