Default Bazooka 70-71-1761 harness for Toyota?

Anyone have any idea if this wiring harness is likely to work? I'm looking for opinions before I "take one for the team" and blow $40 on an experiment. Thanks!

that looks like the one that i had for my car. only difference is that you probably need to extend the wires yourself, while the scion/toyota oem one has the wires long enough already.

Where you gonna get it from? I was figurin it wouldn't be too hard to wire up a bazooka on your own, but that harness looks pretty hairy.

Yeah crutchfield.com has them and if they don't work you can return them with no problem.

Just ordered it ... we'll see what happens :D

For those of you with the factory Bazooka sub, where did they tap for power? I've heard different things about tapping under the dash or under the rear seat cushion. Of course Bazooka says to tap the battery directly.

Has anyone installed a full on competition sound system in their box yet? I'm hoping that if all goes well, I should get mine done by this summer. Just wanted to know if anyone has and if so, how many watts are you running with what kind of subs/enclosure?

Doesn't it draw power and signal from the HU??

I've heard that from several people -- it could be so but the power leads to the HU seem a bit skinny and I'm not too excited about sucking more amps through those.
