which one should i buy for boosting ngk ix irudium or ngk iruidium plug.

i got the ix-iridium. however, that link is for oe gap and heat range. you want to get one or two steps colder for boost and normally a smaller gap also.

 

get 1 step colder for <8psi and gap em yourself.. .30 is the gap i use

what is the stock gap on the plugs you have? my car ran like crap before i gapped it properly. but supposedly, with iridiums, your not supposed to gap it +/- .008 i think.

 

Ive run 2 sets of plugs in the year and a half ive been boosted. I originally ran
NGK BKR7EIX-11

But i had been running them for about 2 months with a totally stock exhaust system, so they Heat glazed. (they turn very red colored) i then swapped them out to the next step colder BKR8EIX-11 and ditched the stock exhaust and i have been running these plugs for over a year and 30+k miles. Also i never chamged the gaps on any of the plugs because iridiums are too fine and easy to mess up i think stock gap is fine. i would recomend the BKR8EIX-11. unless running very low boost
