i just installed mine today, pretty easy when you have a lift at work =P

speed source mounts > ingalls stiffy

 

Too obvious, Ingalls is just a band-aid.

 

Yeah, except for that low-RPM vibration... you don't get that with the stiffy, and it's enough to rattle the entire dash, if only for a split second.

 

you have to expect little things like that though when buying stiffer engine mounts of course =/ dont worry, they will def. break in or you will get used to it quick....they are pretty soft compared to some engine mounts. i had hard metal/poly engine mounts in my e36 before so i dont mind =)

 

Yea, mine have broken in, and it is not harsh at idle anymore... money well spent.

Back mount has three bolts not 2 and is prety easy to get out. To get in well havent got that far yet. Had to drive home with just the front one installed. I have to wake up early tomorrow to go to the auto hobby shop on base to use a lift to get the back mount. Down comes the cross member in goes mount up goes cross member.

We have all the materials needed to make them, except for a small shipment of metal to weld the brackets... I would say by the end of January, we will have a full stock of sets - and I will be sure to let you guys know, and add them to the website

Definitely waiting on these, i think my stiffy dampener has died due to cold weather.

 

Id like a set as well when its produced.

I think mines is dead too, i havent heard the cabin rattle in like 6 months, something is broken i think.

Any suggestions ?
