yea cory i cant wait to see your xb....im in the process of making some new brackets for my intercooler to mount to as i have no crush bar anymore

Yeah. building the trans and engine this winter. I never said my car was running 11's now.

It will next summer.

Honestly to achieve 11's on a auto you better be shooting for high 500whp and ems!

The two wear results for Dominator Racing Oils 10W30 and 15W50

I beat the hell out of my car and with a couple of weeks I always feel like my car is not fast to me so that's why I up the boost. Right now I'm at 17psi going soon to 20 or 22psi depending on how bad my clutch slips lol. Stage 4 equals fail! Lmao

I'm looking into 10W-30 or something for my turboed built block when I get the car back from PTuning. Gonna break it in with conventional, and then synthetic the rest of the way. Wouldn't mind learning more about AMSOIL.

I think thicker oil for winter and thinner for hot weather something like that. But when I lived in Kansas I kept same ol 10w-30 mobil 1 but going to amsoil. Just don't know which one yet????

im using mobil1 right now 5w-30.... whats this sponsorship ordeal going on? i got a built block with head work done aswell, 22 psi and meth injection, twin disc clutch :o

If you have a built motor, check with your engine builder for an idea based on tolerances. Usually you step up from a 30 to a 40 or 50 weight. Gingles, you built? I'd suggest the Dominator® Synthetic 15W-50 Racing Oil (RD50).


If you have a stock turbo engine, I would stay 30 for sure. -
APPLICATIONS
AMSOIL Dominator Synthetic 10W-30 Racing Oil is recommended for high-rpm, high-horsepower, turbo/supercharged, gasoline- or alcohol-burning and nitrous oxide gas-injected applications operated under severe conditions.
Applications include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Asphalt Late Model • Dirt Late Model • Modified Big Block • Modified Small Block • GM Crate Late Model • Marine • Sprint • Midget • Kart • Other domestic and import high-performance racing and street applications requiring 30-weight oil.

gingles, are you at denver full-time now?

EDIT: I stand corrected: The pour points for racing oils are -33F for 15W50 and -44F for 10W30! Either are fine and will take all the abuse in the cold dense air
