well i got tuned this past saturday and as of monday my car started acting up the car would sputter and hesitate under boost

 

AFR? Which EMS?

 

AEM F/IC and i dont have a wideband but its on the way as we speak

 

Just curious does it get really rich (down to 10-11.5 afr) and sputter around 2krpm when under vacuum and partial acceleration? DOnt really understand this but i dont know if youd ever see this on a dyno tune - i had to pull fuel in this range to fix it, now it works great after a little tweaking

 

he probably won't know until he gets his gauge.

you're afr's are probably around 10.0 or lower and you are running really rich. past 2k rpm how is the car?

 

take out a spark plug.. takea pic of the tip and post it

 

I'd bet one of your pipes on the boost side has come loose.

 

pull the plugs and they are still good ... its my fuel map its running rich in boost and partial acc. it was doing this on the dyno but i thought the tuner would have fix it.

 

what was the a/f you were getting while on the dyno then?

 

to be honest im not real sure but i wanna say 11.5

This happens sometimes after a dyno tune, it is probably running rich, get that AFR gauge installed.

 

20 but my car seems to have hiccups and im running ngk 7s but on the stock gap cause autoparts store have no idea what a feeler gap is

 

it should be here friday so ill get it installed and post up the readings..

 

Did you buy the one with "-11" at the end of the model number? If so your gap is .44.

If you didn't, then we don't know what your gap is.. but the gap could be your issue.

 

Just curious what should our plugs be gapped to? .040? Im using ngk iridium's that are -11 so theyre .044 stock i believe

Okay - try making a smaller gap.. try .35 first.

 

i dont have a gap tool and i know using a slider gap tool isn't very smart for iridiums .. and part stores around my area dont have a clue about the tool i would need

 

If you want, go out and buy regular copper plugs in 7 heat range and gap them down.
