Default Stage 0, just got my first CEL P0172

Looks like after 350 miles I got my first CEL light and it says running too rich in the 1st bank. Should I be worried at all? The car has been tuned.

Well, the thing is, if it was tuned with the CEL off, and now it's on, that will f#ck with your tune.
I got my car tuned, ran great, CEL comes on and my AFRs are completely different now. Still runs good, but it's leaner then I like at partial trhottle and richer then i like a WOT. So baically, it's running like every untuned kit out there.
I would take it back to your tuner.

I use to get those all the time on my old setup, i never worried about them though.

I never had that problem when i use to have the emanage ultimate!

You never had what problem, the CEL coming on? Or your AFRs being differnt with the code then without the code?

Well The AFR's seem fine when I'm everday driving it. I'll try her under WOT and see what I get. Also the CEL came up like right when I took off after a cold start.

Here's a question. What AFR's do you get under WOT from 4k-6k? I start out at low 13's and hit 12-12.5 from 4500-6k. Is that normal?

Hmmm... I'm still blaming mine on a poor tune, but even when the CEL is on, my WOT are in the low 11s. Partial in the 13s.
When I clear the code, my partial throttle are in the 12s and WOT in the 11s. Problem is, even when just cruizing my AFRs will dip in the 12s! that's NOT IN BOOST!

He did. But he said that was the best he could do without new injectors. He should be bringing me a new set when he gets down here and a boost controller so we can get up to 7-9 psi. So I'm guessing I shouldn't be getting on it til then....

Wow! You must be getting like 15 mpg.... I get 14-16 afr's when cruising and under partial.

Yeah, my mpg is in the toilet right now! cut by almost half! But with theCEL on, it's OK.
If your getting 13 at partial, your ok, but I would not go WOT if your at 12 or 13. You need the larger injectors to dump more fuel to richen it up. When are you supposed to get those?

Kinda funny, though, that you get a running rich code with stock injectors and a tune? When I had stock injectors and no tune, I got a lean code.
I got the rich code after tune and 650cc injectors. But I think it comes on when I'm cruzing, not when I'm in boost...obviously!

Cool. Whenever Kenny comes back to Houston he's supposed to bring me a set and retune with more boost. I'll stay out of WOT for now, but my WG opens up even at 1/4 throttle...
