Default Stock clutch and flywheel limit?

So I searched and I couldn't find anything to answer my question. How much power can the stock clutch and flywheel handle before theres any performance loss?

not very much, I've been boosted for 3 months and my clutch is taking a **** as we speak, I'm at about 300 to the wheels... it will hold, but not for long, especially if you get boost happy

well, you could have a zpi stage zero made 230 whp, and was fine on the stock clutch, but most stage 1 kits that make about 250-300 whp require a new clutch.

also, you don't need to swap the flywheel, the flywheel has nothing to do with holding power, it has to do with transfering power, but if you have the money, it is worth buying a new one to put on while your swaping the clutch. so is the lsd.

In a tC boost = new clutch period.

Even SC guys are having trouble with them.

but you are suppose to resurface the flywheel if you don't replace it.... not that everyone does this just saying...

I have been boosted for quite sometime running the stock clutch and I have had my fair share of getting up on it. Still holding strong, although I do have a CC clutch/flywheel waiting in the garage just in case.

Just don't beat the crap out of a stock clutch and expect it to last long. You may have luck on moderate boost 6-7psi and easing the clutch out during use.
