Hey guys I was planning on getting a stroker kit and making a 400 450 hp car but I dont have that kind of money right now... So Im just wondering how much HP can you get out of a TC with stock internals with a turbo kit?

i dont think you"ll reach that hp levels with a stroker kit! But investing that amount money into a turbo will get that there!

 

Well i was going to go with a Stroker kit and a turbo on top of that but Im not rich lol so i just want to see how much i can get out of a turbo with Stock internals.

on a stock motor I believe you cant hit close to 500 if not over along with head studs, e85, return fuel system and the turbo kit- assuming other necessary upgrades liek clutch - but in general, much more research is needed

 

that right their is a red flag for me.

rules #1: don't boost on a budget...

just for clarity though I am not saying you have to be rich. I am just saying that make sure you do the proper research so you know how much you will need and how much extra you need to have set aside..especially for the numbers you are referring to

 

I'll help you out man. If you do have a budget, by all means! make sure you have money on the side, something always goes wrong, unless your a professional!. The max you squeeze out of your engine safely, is about 290-320 depending on what kit you go with and etc.. So that my friend is what you need to search for! GL

 

my tuner made 415? whp on his gf's tc with stock motor. so there you go. get a bomb tune and you're good to go!

Thats pretty impressive. Gota do a lot of tweaking to get that and a shot of methanol should help!

 

Well i would really love to be pushing 300ish HP. What kind of turbo set up do you think i will need? And how much would i be boosting like 10-12?

 

You guys have E85 where youre at? Once you go E, you neva go back!

 

Dezod or Ptuning Those are the best kits in my opion. Honestly you may not even need to push 10 to 12 pounds of boost. You can get 300 on 8.7 psi depending on the tune. Is this your first build?

 

We only have 1 Gas pump that has e85 so i really didnt want to do that. And yes this is my first build i know im all noob lol... So what should i do about my tranny? just a bigger clutch and flywheel? Oh and does any one know of a good Tunner around Albuquerque NM?

 

im on a dezod S1 kit with 9 psi on stock motor making 300whp 300tq....LOTS of FUN!! haha

 

^^ You should really think about changing your sig.

 

A tuner. No I sure don't. As far as your tranny I would upgrade you an act stage three. The fly wheel I havent ever looked into changing it honestl, haven't got that far with my build.
