STRIPPER TURBO!!! Updated with pics on first post!
Well without giving out to much info. The Stripper Motorsports Scion tC turbo kits is being fabbed up as I type. I will post up the picks early next week but wont say to much now until its complete. We will be running dynos next week to show the performance gains.
But to get the hype up, we are expecting to have the same or more power than the turbonetics turbo for half the cost
This kit will be like no other kit out for the tC!!!
Ill keep you all informed as it continues. Ill try to get a couple spy shots for you!
UPDATED PICS:

Fabrication is Complete Heres some pics of the kit put together

FAQ
1) How will the exhaust come in the Kit? The exhaust comes from header back... Yes header. With this type of setup you dont need a turbo manifold due to the turbo not being in the engine bay.
2) PRICE? Pricing has not been calculated yet but once we get it everything finalized we will be doing the pricing.
3)Have you measured Tempature of Turbo or Intake? Temps havent been tested on this kit in particular yet but we should be running by this weekend.
4)When will the kit go into production and be available? ETA on completion for this kit in particular will be this weekend. As for ETA on production non as of yet we would like to do vigorous testing first.
5) Will the filter be covered or left out in the open? As for the filter, Yes there will be a shield over the filter along with a filter sock to help with dust, water, and road debree.
6) When the air gets ALL the way down the pipe from the FMIC to the blower...the blower has to shoot that air ALL the way BACK to the other end? The air doesnt run from the fmic to the blower! it runs the other direction. From the blower to the fmic.
7) you were talking about it being cooler? uh what temperature do you think your exhaust pipe is gonna get up to? still gonna be hot no matter where u put it.As far as it being cooler... It would be for the simple fact that it is not in the enginge bay. It with not be sitting in hot ambient temps that occur in the engine bay. yes the exhaust gas will still be hot, that is a given, but the outside air circulating around the turbo would help too cool it off. You also have the added 6 ft of intercooler piping that is exposed to "cold" air that will give the charged air a little bit more space to cool off!
why are you selecting the MP turbo? e selected the MP turbo to see how it faired. They are cheaper than other turbo brands out there so that helps keep costs down. This kit is being made to be a very reasonable kit, price wise.
We are going to do a lot of testing on this kit and make it the best kit out there for the money. If the kit or any part of it does not live up to our expectations then we will not sell it to the public.
9)How would this hold up in Buffalo during the winter? we are in Michigan, so i know what you mean. Shatty roads and shatty weather. My boss has done many of these on many other cars in Michigan and they have been driven all year with no problems.
10) Ok yeah umm i see someone bottoming out over a speed bump and flippin' some poop up! The car has the TRD drop and there still a lot of room The front cross member is lower then the turbo ite so if you can get over a speed bump now youll have no problem. The only way youll have issues is if you back up into a wall hard
