Default Suddenly running rich[help]?!?!

So tonight i was driving on the highway and i got up to full boost a few times, and hit about 100 in 5th. When i got off the highway i noticed my car was/is running waaay rich. At idle the car is at like 12 and driving normal, it gets down to 10. when i boost again it gets leaner till like 14 then starts going back down to 11.5-12 which is what it is usually at when i boost.

i am running the AEM FIC, with the Dezod S1 kit at about 10-11 psi. It was running perfect earlier. IDK what happened, all i know is it was pulling wicked hard, kinda liked it, but don't want to run rich all the time.

Please someone help!!

Do you have a check engine light? If so get the code(s) checked. The exact same thing happened to me when my front o2 sensor died. I replaced it and that fixed everything.

check you pipes or couplers and make sure nothing is blown off.. and your vacuum lines for leaks.. if not it could be your fuel trims

i was thinking the same thing about the vacum and charge pipes, but if one of those blew wouldn't i be running really lean.

Can my fuel trim just change? i didn't touch my tune at all.

if the pipe came off then it would run rich where it would expect more air and it would be there.

because your maf sensor already added fuel for the air coming in through the turbo. then it is coming through the turbo and instead of going into the engine it escaping at the leak in the intercooler pipes, but it is still adding the fuel for the air that never made it to the engine. that is why you are running rich

so i went out and checked all my pipes and they all seemed to be on there so i gave them all a little tighten and started my car up.... this time it was idling at 10 so i got a spray bottle with soap and sprayed all my couplings and none of them were leaking.

I pulled my negative cable off my battery to reset my fuel trims, and viola!! Like magic... now the hard part... can anybody explain to me why this happened, this is the first time it's done this, and i would like to know if i could prevent it. Maybe cause when i went from 100 to 70 i left it in gear and let the trans slow me down. Does anybody know if that's bad for your car, i wouldn't think so but then again i can be wrong.

so lessons learned... check your pipes and reset fuel trims (btw is it bad to reset fuel trims?)

Resetting fuel trims should not hurt anything. Just dont boost for like the first 50 miles to make sure your tune wont run lean.

fuel trims, the ecu couldn't figure it out and thought the car was gonna blwo up so it sent it into a sort of limp mode and made the injectors spit more fuel than normal
