pretty sure the part they need is the top of the airbox. check your S/C package and see... i think the bottom of the trd s/c airbox is larger then stock.

I actually found that price last night and went digging in the basement more and found the rest of it. But I called the dealership and now they're saying that it should come with a larger air box but they don't have one in the kit, I got this from sparks should I call call them about it or would they not even believe me cause it comes from toyota.

Thanks for the help everyone

Edit its an 05 btw

yeah what they are gonna do is move the fuse box forward to give clearance for the new larger bottom portion of the airbox. this is for 05-06 s/c only.

Yeah i dont think theyd need the top of the air box, all the s/c tcs around here have a different one with TRD on top. BTW aint it true that u cant modify the air box or replace it b4 ur 2 yr warranty on the S/C is up or it could void the warranty? A guy at a car show with a s/c tc told me just askin.

basically you can't do anything to the supercharger without voiding your powertrain warranty on it, or the part warranty on it. the warranty specifically mentions pulleys and intakes, and the tamper proof bolt/tamper evident cap but also says it isn't limited to those two parts alone. other parts could be the crank pulley, or exhaust header, water/meth injection, intercooling, piggyback tuning, nitrous etc.basically leave it alone or your warranty is void.

and you don't get a 2 year warranty on the supercharger. you either get a 1 year/12,000 mile warranty on the supercharger, or the remainder of your 5 year/60,000 powertrain warranty, whichever is greater.

if you or a non toyota/trd dealership installs it you can only get a 1 year/12,000 mile warranty, whichever comes first.

again, those are both if and only if you haven't voided the warranty with equipment that could alter the operation of the supercharger.

^^ You forgot if the techs think you misused the S/C. like race the S/C to hard they can void your warranty it doesn't matter if it was stock when you raced it.
